Sing Omaha's Doors Are Wide Open

In response to announcement of fellow non-profit's closure

We at Sing Omaha were saddened to hear the news that fellow non-profit music organization "The Nebraska Choral Arts Society" has closed its doors after more than 30 years of service to musicians in Eastern Nebraska. We are grateful, on behalf of the Omaha arts community, for the artistic and educational impact that NCAS has made on singers and audiences alike for over a generation.

In response to this news, and in an effort to sustain the art of community-based vocal music in Eastern Nebraska, we are opening our doors to student musicians, grades K-12, who have been left without a choir to call home.

Former NCAS student singers will not be required to audition for Sing Omaha. Families with K-12th grade singers need only contact us via phone or email and pay a small deposit to reserve their spot in one of our five youth choirs located in Bellevue and Omaha.

Displaced NCAS adult singers are welcome to contact Sing Omaha for information about audition requirements for one of our two adult choirs.

We are grateful to be in a position to offer these opportunities, and we are hopeful that Sing Omaha will enjoy a great deal of artistic success and make lasting community impact.
